2025 Ford Escape vs 2024 Ford Escape

Serving Richardson, TX

The Ford Escape is a small, capable crossover SUV that has been a preferred option among drivers across its four generations. The current generation debuted in 2020, and the mid-generation 2025 Escape is almost identical to the 2024 version. What can you expect from the Ford Escape?

Performance

The 2024 and 2025 Ford Escape are comparably engineered on a trim-by-trim basis. The Active and ST-Line trim levels are powered by a turbo 1.5-liter, three-cylinder, 180-horsepower engine. This engine comes with front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission. The other trim levels are equipped with a four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter engine that generates 250 horsepower. It has standard all-wheel drive and the same transmission.

Appearance

The Ford Escape's exterior style is unchanged between the 2024 and 2025 model years. It boasts deep yet smooth side contouring as well as a tall roof that supports ample headroom in the cabin. A radiating pattern runs through the hexagon-like grille. The thin bumper is underscored by a metallic element, and it is flanked by vertical air inlets that hold the fog lights. The double-elemental LED headlights are slightly angled for an athletic touch. Exterior features are heated side mirrors, roof rails with a side rack, up to 19-inch wheels, rain-sensing front wipers, a tow package and several additional features.

Features

The Escape has all of the same safety and cabin features in the 2024 and 2025 model years, but they have been shuffled slightly between the trim levels. Some of the available or standard features are automated parking assistance, a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 10 speakers, a head-up display, leather upholstery, adaptive cruise control, a 13.2-inch infotainment system screen, a navigation system, interior ambient lighting, driver's memory seats, a digital instrument panel, rear auto braking, a remote ignition, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and more.
