Serving Richardson, TX

The powerful Ford F-150 is a dependable full-size truck that has been preferred for work and play in the Richardson area for decades. Now in its 14th generation, the 2024 F-150 is available in six trim levels. The mid-level trims are the XLT and Lariat, and they offer the power and features that today's drivers want. What are the differences between the 2024 Ford F-150 XLT and Lariat trim levels?

Performance

The F-150 XLT is powered by a V6, 2.7-liter gas engine. This 325-horsepower engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. You can also upgrade your XLT with a 5.0-liter, V8, 400-horsepower engine. It has the same transmission and four-wheel drive. The 2024 Ford F-150 Lariat is exclusively available with this V8 engine and four-wheel drive. Both the XLT and the Lariat have a tow hitch and Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

Appearance

Overall, the F-150's style reflects an updated design in 2024. The truck is designed with a tall, subtly slanted hood that shows off muscular definition. Over the nose, the tall grille stretches outward and rounds inward to connect with the stacked, rectangular headlights. The sides have smoothly flared fenders accented by pinstripes. Across the lower portion of the doors, there's a molded definition that adds a strong touch. Both of these trim levels are available with your choice of three cab styles and three lengths of beds. The F-150 XLT has 18-inch alloy wheels. The Lariat has 20-inch alloy wheels and power-folding side mirrors.

Features

If you opt for the 2024 Ford F-150 XLT, your truck will be outfitted with a powered driver's seat, a dual-zone auto climate control system, a 360-degree camera system, rear auto braking, a blind-spot warning system, forward collision warning, lane keeping, wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-inch infotainment system, Sync 4 tech and a digital instrument panel. If you select the Lariat, your F-150 will also come with BlueCruise, lane centering, power-adjusting pedals, leather seats, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, ambient cabin lighting, and a B&O audio system with eight speakers.
