The 2024 Ford F-150 and Ford F-250 are powerhouses that are well-known for working hard in rigorous conditions. This year, the full-size, light-duty F-150 and the heavy-duty F-250 introduce numerous updates. While you can appreciate similarities in their design language and find several shared features, these trucks are exceptionally individualized in many ways. You can rely on our North Central Ford associates to help you compare these models and their trim levels.

Performance

You can find six well-engineered systems across the F-150’s nine trim levels. Three of these are V6 engines, which produce 325 horsepower, 400 horsepower, and 450 horsepower. There are also two V8 engines, which deliver 400 horsepower and 720 horsepower. A turbo V6 PowerBoost system is also available, and it pairs an electric motor with the gas component to produce 430 horsepower. In comparison, the Ford F-250 has six trim levels, two gas engines, and two diesel engines. The 6.8-liter V8 gas engine produces 400 horsepower, and a 7.3-liter V8 system is available that generates 430 horsepower. Both standard output and high output turbo-diesel V8 engines are available as well. These produce 475 horsepower and 500 horsepower.

Appearance

The F-150 commands the road with its dominant size and squared-off front end. It is styled with lower-body definition across the sides and a modern nose design. The nose displays a wide grille with curved sides. Flanking the grille, the rectangular headlights are accented on two sides with a captivating LED bar. The F-250 is a larger vehicle with similar styling across the sides. The grille is wider, covering almost the entire front end. The rectangular headlights are integrated with the grille and capped on three sides by an LED bar.

The 2024 F-150 and F-250 share interior, exterior, and safety features.
