What's New for the 2024 Ford Edge?
With its effortless style and great features, the Ford Edge has been a top contender for Richardson-area SUV shoppers. This compact crossover is entering its final year in 2024, and Ford has not changed this outgoing model. The 2024 Ford Edge will continue to have expressive styling with deep, linear accents across the sides. The profile shows off a raked liftgate and a short, defined hood. The two-row Edge continues to have the same excellent features in 2024 as it offered in 2023. The base trim gives you keyless entry, a 12-inch central display screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a push-button starter, a blind-spot alert, forward collision mitigation, and lane keeping. Additional features that could be standard or available for the 2024 Edge's higher trim levels are synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, a nine-speaker audio system or a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen system, evasive steering assistance, a security alarm, remote engine start, a wireless charging pad, an automated parking system, leather upholstery, a navigation system, and numerous others.
The first four of the Edge's five trims draw 250 horsepower from the same four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. This is tied to an auto eight-speed transmission. The top ST trim level features a 335-horsepower turbo V6, a 2.7-liter engine, and a seven-speed auto transmission. Both systems have all-wheel drive. Larger brakes with high-performance pads are offered optionally for the highest trim levels.
