What's New for the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R?
The Ford F-150 lineup grows more impressive in the 2023 model year by introducing a new trim level. The Raptor R trim level stands out as the top option in the lineup today. As a new trim level, the Raptor R brings more substantial capabilities and a few new features to the mix for drivers to enjoy. What can you expect if you decide to upgrade to the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R?
The most noticeable difference between the Raptor R and the other trims is its strong performance capabilities. This truck draws 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque from a V8 supercharged engine. The engine has an all-wheel drive layout combined with an automatic 10-speed transmission. The Raptor R's performance is also enhanced by equipment like beadlock-capable wheels, 37-inch tires, retuned shocks, and many of the other features that are found in the other off-roading trim levels. These features are multiple terrain driving modes, a locking rear differential, six upfitter switches, and an off-road suspension.
On the exterior, the F-150 Raptor R has a few distinguishing qualities. It carries the same tall, curved nose, a boxy profile, and solid ground clearance that the other trims have. However, it adds flared rear fenders and specialized graphics.
The 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R also stands out with a few interior features that are specific to it. These include front-row Recaro sport seats, individualized upholstery, and special cabin accents. Some of the many features that it shares with lower trim levels are a B&O sound system, powered running boards, a dual-pane powered moonroof, an automatic dual-zone climate control system, a rear work surface, a power tailgate, heated and massaging front seats, and wireless device charging. Safety equipment in the Raptor R includes a 360-degree camera, rear automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping, and evasive steering assistance.
