What's New for the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend?
The Ford Bronco Sport is the smaller, sportier version of the popular Bronco SUV. This model debuted only a few years ago and maintained solid appeal across its four trims. As with the other trims, the Big Bend is the second option in the 2023 trim lineup. The 2023 Bronco Sport Big Bend has a few new exterior color options. There are also a few modest changes to the optional features available. The most significant change is the introduction of the Black Diamond Off-Road package. This package is only offered for the Big Bend and Outer Banks trims. It adds exceptional graphics, underbody skid plates, and glossy gray, 17-inch wheels.
Besides the design differences introduced with the Black Diamond Off-Road package, the Bronco Sport's style holds steady. This crossover displays supreme confidence with its boxy design and bold front end. The sides the Bronco Sport's shape over the sides is highlighted by a thin definition line stretching from front to rear. The front end is slightly curved and has a powerful, molded bumper. The grille displays a large Bronco logo, and the headlights have a premium horizontal bar and a rounded element.
The Bronco Sport Big Bend's performance has not changed for the 2023 model year. This trim comes with a 1.5-liter turbocharged, three-cylinder, 181-horsepower engine. As is the case with all trims, the Big Bend has standard all-wheel drive and eight-speed auto transmission.
The specific features added as standard features for this trim are a satellite radio, a fold-down armrest in the rear, cargo straps, stain-resistant cloth material, auto climate control, tinted windows, heated mirrors, and keyless ignition. These features combine with those offered at lower trim levels, including forward collision mitigation, remote vehicle monitoring, an 8-inch touch display screen, a six-speaker sound system, and Apple CarPlay with Android Auto.
